Making the most of the First Minister's Reading Challenge: Gaelic schools
The First Minister's Reading Challenge is a programme designed to help you build a reading culture and get your pupils excited about reading, and all schools in Scotland can get involved.

At this targeted session for Gaelic medium schools and schools with Gaelic departments, we will be sharing the benefits of the challenge and how you can make the most of it in your setting, including with our Gaelic resources, funding for author visits and inspiring best practice examples.

The session will be presented by Scottish Book Trust staff in a mixture of Gaelic and English, with guest speakers from Gaelic schools sharing their experience. All staff from primary and secondary schools where Gaelic is taught are very welcome to attend.
